Several factors can account for this phenomenon. First and foremost, the global financial crisis has made the job market increasingly competitive, driving many graduates to seek the stability and security that government positions offer. Furthermore, the attractive benefits and social status associated with civil service jobs make them highly desirable. In addition, the exam itself is seen as a fair and transparent way to select talent, which appeals to candidates from all backgrounds.

From my perspective, while the growing enthusiasm for civil service is understandable, it also reflects a lack of diversity in career choices among young people. The government should take measures to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, so that young graduates can have more options to contribute to society. Meanwhile, job seekers should develop a more balanced view of career planning.
