The chart shows the main benefits students gained from a labor practice course at a university. The largest proportion, 91.3 percent, said they learned relevant knowledge, while 84.8 percent reported that their practical ability improved. In addition, 54.4 percent felt relaxed and happy, and 32.6 percent believed their cooperation ability was enhanced.

These figures indicate that labor education is not merely physical work. It combines knowledge, practice and personal growth. Through hands-on tasks, students can better understand how knowledge is applied in real life. They may also develop patience, responsibility and respect for labor. Although the percentage for cooperation is lower, group tasks still provide valuable opportunities for communication.

In my view, universities should continue to improve labor practice courses and make them more diverse and meaningful. Students should also take such courses seriously, because labor education helps them become more capable and well-rounded.
