Dear Professor Smith,
I am writing on behalf of the Students' Union to invite you to serve as a judge for our upcoming English Speech Contest.
The contest will be held on Friday, June 14th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall of the Main Building. Twenty contestants from different departments will deliver speeches on the topic "Technology and Human Life." Your responsibilities will include evaluating their performances based on content, language, and delivery, as well as offering brief comments.
