Dear Jack,

I am writing to share my plan for our survey on the protection of old houses in the ancient town.

First, I suggest that we visit the town next Saturday morning and take photos of several representative old houses. Then we can interview local residents and ask about the history, current condition and protection measures of these buildings. After that, we may sort out the information and prepare a short report together.
