Dear John,
I am Li Ming, a Chinese student who will be sharing the apartment with you next semester. I am writing to tell you a bit about my living habits and to ask for some advice.
As a morning person, I usually get up at around 6:30 and go to bed before 11:00 p.m. I hope this schedule will not disturb you. I prefer cooking simple meals at home rather than eating out, and I always keep the kitchen clean after use.
I would really appreciate it if you could give me some tips on living in the area. For example, are there any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby? What is the best way to get around town?
I am looking forward to meeting you soon and having a wonderful time together.
