Five ways to make conversation with anyone. Conversations are links. Here are five simple ways that you can make the first move and start a conversation with strangers.

Suppose you are in a room with someone you do not know and want to talk. The first word feels stuck. The advice is to get it out: say “Hi”, “Hey” or “Hello” with enthusiasm and a smile.

Remember the little details of people you meet: their names, places they have been, places they want to go, things they like or hate. Remembering such things helps keep the relationship going.
