参考范文

As is vividly shown in the picture, a student is choosing courses on a computer. On one side, a course is described as offering new knowledge, emphasizing innovation and being challenging. On the other side, the student is tempted by another standard: high scores, easy passing and little homework.

The picture reveals a common problem in learning: some students choose courses merely for convenience instead of real growth. If we only pursue easy grades, we may save effort temporarily, but we will lose valuable chances to broaden our knowledge, sharpen our thinking and develop creativity. A truly worthwhile course is not always easy; its difficulty often pushes us to make progress.

In my view, students should adopt a responsible attitude toward course selection. Grades matter, but they should not be the only criterion. We should choose courses that challenge us, inspire us and prepare us for future development.
