With China's reform and opening up, many young people nowadays prefer to hold Western-style weddings. The bride wears a white wedding dress at the wedding because white is considered a symbol of purity. However, in traditional Chinese culture, white is often the color used at funerals. Therefore, it is essential to remember that white flowers should not be used as a gift for wishing someone a speedy recovery, especially not for the elderly or critically ill. Similarly, cash gifts should not be placed in white envelopes, but in red ones.
