China is placing increasing emphasis on public libraries and encourages people to make full use of them. Recently released statistics indicate that the number of public libraries in China is growing year by year. Many libraries have created a quieter and more comfortable environment for readers through renovations and expansions. Large public libraries not only offer a wide variety of reference materials but also regularly hold lectures, exhibitions, and other activities. In recent years, numerous digital libraries have emerged, saving space required for storing books. Some libraries have also introduced self-service systems, making it more convenient for readers to borrow and return books, further meeting the needs of readers.
