The lotus flower is one of China's famous flowers, deeply loved by people. Many lakes and ponds in China are suitable for the growth of lotus flowers. With their vibrant colors, lotus flowers bloom in the early morning of summer and close at night. Their blooming period lasts for two to three months, attracting tourists from all over to admire them. Lotus flowers have multiple functions; they can green the water surface, beautify gardens, purify water quality, reduce pollution, and improve the environment. Facing the scorching sun without fear and emerging from the mud unsoiled, lotus flowers symbolize purity and elegance, often used to metaphorically describe noble character, and have always been an important subject for poets and painters. Places where lotus flowers are in full bloom are also frequently visited by many photography enthusiasts.
