The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, spanning 55 kilometers, is an extraordinary engineering feat in our country. The bridge connects the three cities and is the world's longest sea-crossing bridge and tunnel system. It has reduced travel time between the cities from three hours to just 30 minutes. This massive steel-reinforced concrete bridge fully demonstrates China's capability to construct record-breaking megastructures. It will promote regional integration and stimulate economic growth. The bridge is key to China's development plan for its own Greater Bay Area, with aspirations to rival the bay areas of San Francisco, New York, and Tokyo in terms of technological innovation and economic prosperity.
